Do you have your own website but are interested in being listed in our store? Have you been considering working with affiliates, and you’re curious about how affiliate marketing works?
What is an Affiliate?
An affiliate is someone who tells their friends, their email lists, their Twitter followers and Facebook friends about someone else’s videos, articles, products or services.
What Is Affiliate Marketing?
Affiliate marketing is a form of internet marketing. Merchants make a payout to affiliates based on their performance promoting an offer via an affiliate link. So, if you have your own website, make us an affiliate of yours (also referred to as a publisher), we use our skills to refer our audience to your products. When someone decides to buy a product or take an action based on our recommendation, you make a sale and the KINDer Foundation gains financial support (we get a commission / kickback only after a purchase is completed).
Who Are Affiliates?
When our customer makes a purchase from your company’s website, our charity is financially rewarded with support from their purchase as a bonus for driving them to find you.
What kind of companies do this type of marketing?
In this instance, you are the affiliate company (also known as a merchant, advertiser, retailer, or brand). You are partnering with us to generate more leads and sales than you could without us. To participate in the affiliate program, set the programs terms to 70/30 with a monthly payout of commissions.
30% is sent back to us for helping you either gain traffic to your website or increase sales of your product.
Payments are usually determined on a pay-per-click, pay-per-lead, or pay-per-sale basis. This structure is sometimes referred to as performance marketing. Depending on what you’re goal is, you can give a fixed commission for every qualified action a click generated. This action might include things like installation of an app, online form submission, free trial sign-up, or completion of a short survey. Commission payouts are to occur on a monthly basis.
Affiliate marketing is considered much more advantageous when compared to traditional pay-per-click advertising (like Google or Facebook ads), where a ton of money that you pay up front, may or may not result in few or no leads or sales.
After signing up for an affiliate program for your site, We’ll get an affiliate link, or a special URL that contains our affiliate username or ID. We use this link whenever we mention your product or your website or in other marketing efforts, such as on social media.
Whenever one of our audience members clicks on your new affiliate link, a cookie is dropped into their browser to track them. If they become a customer, you’ll know that customer came from The KINDer Foundation and that’s how we earn financial support to continue educating.
Why Should I Bother?
People who create kick-ass content and products are people who stand behind their products and services 100% and that’s when I was able to see the value in affiliate programs. You can spend your time to improve the value and quality of people’s lives with your content and leave the rest to us. Affiliate programs allow us to promote each other in an easy, powerful, and financially supportive way.
Note: To set up your affiliate account, you only need 3 things: (Name, PayPal email, EIN/SS#)
That’s it! Easy! To add an affiliate program to your personal website, we recommend signup up at https://affiliateroyale.com/ or https://affiliatewp.com/?ref=1027 or https://www.idevdirect.com/
1) Your full name and address
2) The email you use for PayPal payments*
If you don’t have one, you can set one up at no cost in 5 minutes at PayPal.com
Advice from Reid Mihalko: “Regarding PayPal… If you have the word “sex” in your email URL like I do, since PayPal’s been known to shut down accounts of a sexual nature, do what Richard Anton Diaz of SexySpirits.com advised me of doing, which is using a “safer” email addy, one without the word sex in it. I ended up using Workshops@ReidMihalko.com rather than my standard ReidAboutSex.com addy. Just sound advice.”Reidaboutsex.com
3) Your EIN or Social Security number. Affiliate forms require this. (For non-US citizens or green-card holders, you may leave this blank)*
We strongly recommend you use an EIN Number to protect your Social Security number. You could get one at no charge, immediately, at https://sa2.www4.irs.gov/modiein/individual/index.jsp
