Queering Sex and Relationships: Queer centered approach to sex and sexual health

April 2 @ 6:00 pm 7:30 pm UTC+0

Covering the Split-Attraction Model and sex & dysphoria, this course aims to fill in the gaps left by most sexual health curricula.

About this Event

Did you wish your sexual health education included more representation of queer identities? Have you ever felt excluded in sexual health spaces? Do you want to learn more about queer-centered sexual and relational health? Join SQSH at our special online session on Queering Sex and Relationships on Friday, April 2nd from 6-7:30PM CST.

This course will cover:

  • the Split Attraction model
  • characteristics of toxic monogamy culture
  • sex and dysphoria

These are topics that are prevalent in asexual, aromantic, non-monogamous, and trans spaces that are often left out of sexual health curricula. Attendees will join a Zoom call where they can enter their name (or a pseudonym if they prefer) and pronouns (webcams are not required!). The session will consist of a (queer, trans, ace, gray-aro, non-monogamous) SQSH facilitator presenting on these topics as well as a few activities and discussions.

Feel free to share this event with your friends and/or partner(s) and attend together! We hope to make this a comfortable, queer space where everyone feels comfortable talking about their experiences with sex and relationships.

Free – $20 Donation
